The Copenhagen-based investment fund has signed a deal for four 4,300 TEU vessels from Taizhou Sanfu Shipbuilding, with an option for two additional ships. According to Clarksons, the ships are scheduled for delivery between 2027 and 2028, though no pricing details have been disclosed.
Navigare Capital Partners, founded in 2017 by Maersk chairman Robert Maersk Uggla and four experienced shipping executives, manages a diversified portfolio of maritime assets.
These include container ships, bulk carriers, tankers, gas carriers, and offshore wind support vessels. Its latest boxship initiative involved six 2,700 TEU feeder vessels delivered between 2023 and 2024 in partnership with Schoeller Holdings.
Clarksons reports that 18 containerships, totaling approximately 200,000 TEU, have been ordered so far in 2025.
Navigare Capital Partners invests in a broad range of maritime assets, including both asset-backed securities and debt. The company aims to build a diversified portfolio by acquiring, operating, and selling assets across various shipping segments.
