The vessel is operated by NEOLINE, with the support of CMA CGM Group as a key partner.

The Neoliner Origin measures 136 meters in length and is equipped with two 76-meter SolidSail carbon masts for wind propulsion. This technology is designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80% compared to conventional vessels.

The ship is scheduled to begin regular service in the summer of 2025, connecting the ports of Saint-Nazaire (France), Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, Baltimore (USA), and Halifax (Canada).

This project represents a step forward in the industry's efforts to reduce its carbon footprint and transition toward more environmentally friendly shipping solutions.
