The incident occurred at 10:16 a.m. when the dog crawled under the container and was unable to free itself. Fire crews responded by cutting part of the container's frame and digging to create access. Escambia County Animal Control then used specialized equipment to safely remove the dog from the confined space.
No injuries were reported, and the dog was successfully freed.
