The contract is set for a firm two-year period, with three additional yearly options, starting on January 1, 2026.

Normand Subsea, which has been under contract with Subsea7 since 2009, is a 113-meter-long vessel built in 2009, featuring the VS 471 design. This versatile Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair (IMR) vessel has the capacity to accommodate up to 90 people.

In mid-2024, Subsea7 extended its agreement with Solstad Offshore, exercising the 2025 optional charter, though no further options were included in the contract.

The Normand Subsea CSV is owned by Solstad Maritime Holding, in which Solstad Offshore holds a 27.3% stake.
