INTERTANKO, established in 1970, represents independent tanker owners globally and promotes safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility in the energy transportation sector. The organization aims for zero fatalities, zero pollution, and zero detentions in the industry.
Mintra’s membership was endorsed by Stolt Tankers and Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM), reflecting its role in maritime training and operational support. As an Associate Member, Mintra will have access to INTERTANKO’s industry data and insights, contributing to its development of digital solutions for tanker operators.
Erle Kristin Wagle, Mintra’s Director of Maritime Strategy and Business Development, stated that the membership offers an opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders and support improvements in the sector.
Mintra plans to participate in INTERTANKO’s initiatives and submit proposals for industry studies. Key team members involved in this collaboration include Erle Undem, Torbjørg Undem, Kelly White, and Jessica Suessmilch.
